KPasta Restaurant's Owners are Enrique & Michelle. We are a family owned and operated business. Our first restaurant opened was Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant on July 9, 1997 in the city of Bellflower, California. Enrique’s on PCH in the City of Long Beach opened later on June 1, 2001. Our restaurant success is based on our restaurant experience.

Enrique began in the restaurant business, in the United States, since 1983. He was a cook for the 555 in Long Beach for 1 year, a Sous chef at Mac Arthur Park Restaurant in Huntington Beach for 4 1/2 years. For the next five years after Mac Arthur, Enrique was the Head Chef at El Comal Mexican Restaurant in Long Beach. Then after, Enrique was the Chef and half owner of La Cilla Grill in Long Beach for 1 1/2 years, later progressing to and executive chef of Prego in the city of Irvine, for 7 years. Three years into Prego , Enrique opened Enrique’s in the City of Bellflower, California in 97’ and later the second Enriques in 2001 in the city of Long Beach, California.

Michelle has been in the restaurant business since 1990. She has been a food server at different verities of restaurants like: La Villa Grill in Long Beach, California, Renato’s Italian Restaurant in Westminster, California, Stuart Anderson’s Black Angus in Lakewood, California, Walt’s Wharf in Seal Beach, California, The Hungry Hunter in Temecula, California, The Terrace Vineyard in Temecula, California, and lastly in Callaway Winery in Temecula, California. Michelle was the manager of Enrique’s Mexican Restaurant in Bellflower, California and now holds the title as well as ownership of the Long Beach location.

Enrique and Michelle have been together since 1990 and married since 1994. Even with a family and two businesses  they are always hands on jumping from either Kpasta or Enrique’s greeting each of their guest with a biggest smile and humbling attitude that makes you feel like family. Many might ask, “Why do you both work with two businesses and a family?” The only response you will hear is because they love what they do and don’t plan to retire any time soon!
